Hi!

I love to tutor. I have been tutoring at the library for the past four years. My students have been a diverse group.

I tutor kids in grades K-8. I especially like to help students with math.

I like to develop a relationship with my students. I try to find out about interests, home life, school life, etc. I want my students to trust me and know that I care about their success in school.

I have a bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota in International Relations with a History minor. My major does not reflect the subject that I enjoy teaching which is math. I do find world history to be fascinating and tutor that subject as well.

Working with kids has been a learning experience for me, too! I have learned different personal methods of explaining subjects to students. I try to find the best fit for the student to make the sessions successful. Learning should not be painful.

I look forward to helping students in their struggles with homework. I help them feel confident and proud of their success.
