About Vanessa

My name is Vanessa. I graduated from University of the Pacific with my Bachelors in Mathematics and also received my single subject credential in math. While going to school I tutored as a side job. In all, I have been tutoring for about 6 years.

I am a current high school teacher. I teach algebra and geometry. I have taught middle school pre-algebra. While teaching, I tutored on the side. I have been teaching for 4 years. I enjoy geometry most of all, but believe that the basis to any good math student is algebra. I am available to tutor anytime after 5pm due to my teaching schedule. I am also available on the weekends.

Tutoring has always been my fall back because I enjoy the one-on-one work with students. Being in a classroom can sometimes be intimidating and being allowed a space to ask questions is the only thing that is holding someone back.
