About Katherine

Hi! I'm Katherine. I just graduated from UCLA with a degree in Bioengineering. I have been tutoring since I was a freshman in high school for students of all ages in a variety of subjects. I'm very patient and love to help! I'm great at coming up with different ways to explain things and won't give up until you understand! In my spare time I love playing soccer, baking and cooking, and just having fun! I look forward to hearing from you soon!

  • First Algebra 1 Tutoring

Katherine was very pleasant and connected well with Emma. Based on an excellent first tutoring session I have purchased a package and plan to use Katherine initially for one hour week, and 2 hours or more per week for test preparation.

More On Katherine's Subjects

  • elementary (k-6th)

I have experience tutoring several K-6 students. I've worked with two 6th graders covering all subjects (english, history, math, etc). Both started on the verge of failing several classes and with my help were able to raise their grades to at least a B. I also worked with a 7-8 year old who was having trouble with math and reading. He did have a slight condition which made it more challenging for him to learn, as well as ADD. My patience and understanding kept me looking for new ideas and because of that he was able to start making progress.
