I am an experienced teacher. I have taught at middle schools, high schools, and community colleges. I have a BS degree in business education, a major in accounting, and an MA in education.

I am proficient in sole proprietorship, partnership, and corporation accounting. I am proficient in using Peachtree for accounting.

In addition to teaching in the public schools, I have worked on a government contract supplying computer software training for 1,600 employees. I also provided help desk and trouble shooting as well.

I am teaching the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Access. I am also Microsoft Office certified. I have many experiences to bring to students of all ages. I am also teaching accounting, Peachtree, and Quickbooks.

I have been a teacher for a number of years. During that time I have taught computer classes on the high school and college levels. My background includes numerous computer and software application classes. I have taught Introduction to Computers, Windows XP, and the Microsoft Suite to mention a few. I also use my computer many hours a day. I love teaching. I have worked in industry for a large governmental project. I was the training manager. I prepared all curriculum and taught those classes. There was a wide range of classes taught and included the Microsoft Office Suite. I have worked in a legal office where I used my computer skills.

general music

I have been involved in vocal and instrumental music for a long time. I begin in the 2nd grade. I have learned all the fundamentals to be a successful instrumental instructor. I have also given flute lessons in the past.

study skills

As a teacher and as a student I have developed study skills that worked not only for me but for students I have taught. It is very important to develop study skills at an early age. Good study skills are an excellent foundation not only school but also adulthood.
