More On Paul's Subjects

theatre

I have written, directed and produced several of my own plays. As an actor myself I understand the methods to play a role, and to play it well. I also understand the tech aspects of the theater. I can teach how to develop a character, how to find his motivation, and how to make the role your very own.

religion

Having been a chaplain for a good fifteen years I have developed a working knowledge of religion in general, and the specific tenants of many different faiths. In my "church" I have a diverse group of people, all of whom need to be ministered to. I understand the Judeo and Christian faiths intimately, and the other major ones I know from reading and study.

Bible studies

I have been a student of the Bible for over twenty years. I also have gone to Bible School and have served as a chaplain for a group of living historians for close to fifteen years. I teach what the Bible says, not what other books and people say the Bible says.

public speaking

I have a MFA from Augusta State University and one of my majors is Communications/Speech. I am very well versed in the art of public speaking. As a chaplain I must speak to my soldiers on a very regular basis. I know how to find the problems a student has with talking and am able to suggest ways to overcome those problems.
