I am a 29yr. old college Senior studying Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I begin Student teaching in Sept. 2009 and I will have completed my degree in Dec. 2009. I have about 9 years experience teaching in preschool settings as well as experience in the Elementary school classrooms (finished my Practicum experience this June 2009 with about 300 hrs. as a full time teacher in a fifth grade classroom). I moved here 2 years ago from Boston, MA in order to focus on completing my Undergraduate degree in Education. I have enjoyed every moment of it.
My hobbies include reading, art (painting), bike riding, hiking, and playing soccer. Oh, I also love watching basketball! I am easy going, I listen well to others, but I also believe in putting effort into the work you are doing. Hard work does pay in the end. I am a prime example of this! I believe that anyone can do anything as long as they have determination to succeed. I believe in open communication and honesty with families as well as with the students I teach.
