I have taught Chemistry, Biology, Physical Science and Physics for nearly 40 years. I have been named Teacher of the Year in 1995 and was chosen to give the Inspirational Speech for the Class of 2007. My former students have been accepted to a wide variety of colleges and universities.

I have been a basketball coach, head track & field, and cross country coach. During those years our girls' team in track and field won 8 regional championships and two state championships. Our boys' basketball team won numerous regional championships and one state championship. I know how to help students give their best and most consistent effort.

I am currently partially retired and I still have the motivation and desire to help students understand the value and concepts of scientific information.

The role of science in society has such a great impact that students should become knowledgeable and proficient in thinking like a scientist. Whether a student has some scientific career or profession in mind, or simply needs to satisfy immediate academic requirements I truly believe that I can help.

Throughout the years, I have worked with student individually whether they were in my classes or from other science courses. I know that every student wants to do their best and wants to achieve as much as they can from their education. An important trait in all of us is the ability to persist in the direction of greatest resistance. Tutoring can be the realistic tool that helps students master those subjects, skills and abilities providing them greater opportunity and a more satisfying educational experience. I know I can help.
