Hello. I am a recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in Music Education. I attended college at Prairie View A&M,and I am a native of Fort Worth, TX. I love to incorporate humor and, more importantly, validity into my teaching so that the students can feel comfortable learning when with me and also understand why it's important that students learn the necessary information.   I grew up playing chess daily with my family, and continue to do so on occasion. During middle school and high school, I attended several summer camps that and took classes on chess and various strategies

• drums

  I am a music education graduate from Prairie View A&M where my studies focused around percussion. I marched in the band and performed in the concert band for 4 yrs at each the high school and middle school level. Also, I performed for 14 years in an afro-cuban percussion group in which I focused on the djembe drum, and continue to practice and perform with that instrument. I also played drum set frequently in high school with a small performing jazz band for 4 years.
