My name is Keith. I have a Bachelors degree in Music and a Masters degree in Education. I tutor English Language arts. This includes Reading, Grammar, Writing, speaking and vocabulary building. I also teach music and can tutor in Voice, Songwriting, Beginning Piano, Theory, and making music using computer software. Also can assist with basic digital audio. I focus on topics that the students enjoy and show them how they relate to other things in their life. My approach is interactive. I prefer students to have questions ready based on some earlier effort on their part. In this was, learning becomes more fun and intuitive. If a student is in school already, I like to start with their current assignments to see how comfortable they are already where they are. Once they are comfortable with reading and writing basic sentences, stories and able to explain it for someone else, they are usually on your way to understanding more advanced work. My minor was in journalism, (print and broadcast). I have published a book of essays as well as a music book.
