I'm a recent alumnus from the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania. I graduated in May 2009 Magna Cum Laude with Honors as an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing and minor in History of Art. I scored in the 90th percentile on the GRE exam. I have a lot of tutoring and teaching experience and love to work with students of all ages and skill levels. I have played drums since the fifth grade, and gave private lessons for four years; I was the Penn Jazz drummer for two and a half years. I have an abundance of patience and can tailor the tutoring experience to suit your needs. Since then I have won multiple regional awards on the East Coast and played in the Montgomery County, Maryland honors countywide jazz band, as well as holding the principal drum seat in my high school jazz band for all four years and playing in Penn Jazz for two and a half years. I am thoroughly familiar and experienced with all styles of playing, beats, sticking, and rudiments.
