Hi! I graduated from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a concentration in Writing. This has been my passion for as long as I can remember and since I was in 4th grade, teachers have always said that I have a flare for writing. I love sharing this with others too.

I'm currently completing my doctoral degree in Combined School and Clinical Child Psychology and this course work has focused heavily Elementary education and learning disorders, in addition to psychology.

My "teaching style," mirrors my personality: laid back and flexible. I'm good at reading people and I tailor material to fit each student. I believe in meeting each student at the point where he or she is and taking steps together.

  As part of my program requirements for my Doctoral degree in School Psychology, a significant amount of course and fieldwork was focused on understanding the various types of learning disorders and how to remediate students with learning challenges. Over the past 5 years I've worked with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and feel confident in my ability to understand the individual needs each student presents with. Reading/writing and mathematics were the main subjects of focus.
