As a future educator, I would like to have the opportunity to be part of this recruiting staff. I have recently completed my Multiple Subject BCLAD Teaching Credentials. I am enthusiastic to be part of your staff to learn more in depth of what it offers to our students. As a future teacher I would offer motivation, enthusiasm, and patient to my students to achieve their goals. As a future teacher, I also believe that motivation is the key to succeed as an educator.
I define myself as a responsible, loving and caring individual. I have the passion to work with children. My expectations for my students are teaching, making it a fun learning environment, engage the students, motivate the students in learning. Be an excellent teacher and provide a good source of classroom management. Furthermore, I have worked for the Downey Unified School District and the Lynwood Unified School District as a Substitute Teacher for over three years, working as a Substitute for grades K through 12. I have also previously worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District for two years. I have obtained a certificate of completion of training in the Open Court Reading Program. Throughout those years in the field of education, I have learned different teaching strategies that will be useful for student’s success in achieving academic achievement.
I believe it is important for both teachers and students to work together in setting learning goals, develop action plan and track learning progress. It is important to motivate the students by providing feedback, allow students to share feelings about a subject matter by providing the students with a graph or a survey. It is important as teachers to spend more quality time with their students in achieving their learning goals.
As educators it is important to promote high academic achievement, build character and creativity for every student. It is important to encourage parent and teacher along with the community to work together as a team to ensure the students to become learners, and responsible by integrating technology to promote research. It is also important to provide students with parent involvement in their education by encouraging students to have their parents read aloud to at home, and assists the student in their homework. This helps create a positive attitude and behavior of the students if parents are involve in their education. It is also important to provide the students with various learning styles and strategies such as manipulative, hands-on activities, and graphic organizers while teaching math, language arts, social studies, art, etc. In order to promote diversity in a classroom we would read many books on different cultures. Read about various countries and how people in those countries live and learn about their customs.
