About John

Hi - My name is John. I'm a young professional working in the biotechnology industry in San Diego. I have a B.S. degree from Santa Clara University in Chemistry and Biology and a Ph.D. from UC Santa Cruz in Chemistry. I have taken extensive coursework in chemistry, biochemistry, and mathematics through calculus. As a graduate student, I taught courses ranging from general chemistry to advanced physical chemistry. I taught both in the classroom and in a one-on-one basis in office hours. I am a pretty easy going teacher, but I do expect students to make an effort to understand the material.
