I have been an English teacher for the Pittsburgh Public Schools for the past four years with a Masters Degree from the University of Portland and teaching certification from Carlow University. Prior to teaching, I worked as a grantwriter and marketing professional for local non-profits such as the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Red Cross and the Auberle Foundation. With two teenagers of my own, I know how important it is to gain the skills necessary to excel in school and do well on the SAT. With only one hour a week, I can help your child gain the confidence and skill he/she needs to be a great student and life-long learner.
