I was born and raised in Rhode Island. I was a very good student in high school and a National Scholar. I was educated in Boston -- Northeastern University for my Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Boston University for my Masters degree in Business Administration. I have always loved Math and Science but get more enjoyment from Music, Art, Literature and Drama. I have used my technical skills to become a Sound Engineer and support live performances for all types of musical groups, e.g., jazz, classical, chorus. I also direct theatrical productions in the Bay Area, e.g., variety shows, musical performances.
Professionally, I am a management and marketing consultant. To do that, I have become very proficient in business, finance, and communication -- and all the computer skills needed to be successful in that field.
I have been a substitute teacher in the Boston Public School system. I have tutored high school math on several occasions.
I am a Certified Professional Facilitator, which means I know how to work with groups and teams, and help them achieve their creative and problem solving goals. My specialty is Strategic Planning, but I also teach team building skills, creative brainstorming, and other business skills. My teaching style is one of collaboration.
