Hello to all! My name is Grant Jolly, and I am a 25 year old nursing student here in Baton Rouge, LA. Before changing my career to nursing, I served as a Biology teacher in central Louisiana for a couple of years before arriving in Baton Rouge. I have a background in biological science of course, as well as experience in percussive musical instruments. I was on paid scholarship to the University of Louisiana at Monroe for musical performance as well as other scholarships.
I'm certified to teach secondary Biology and General Science. I tend to teach with repeated practice of sample questions and visual aids such as charts, pie graphs, etc....these type of questions are ironed into the fabric of the ACT and SATS, so I've always tried to give my students that edge. However, I have also learned that each student is different, so I modify my methods for the situation. 90 percent of my LEAP classes have passed without remediation. I try to create a stress-free environment for my students to learn in, and it has worked quite well thus far.
If there are any more questions, please contact me! Thank you.
