Hi! I am a college graduate from the University of Wisconsin Platteville with a degree in Agribusiness and emphasis in Communications. I have worked with students and youth my entire life through the 4-H program as a member, youth leader, and adult leader for a variety of projects. All through high school and college I assisted elementary school students with their rudimentary reading skills and small group social skills; often breaking the ice with my goofy animal stories - I have many! My animals bring great joy to my life - I grew up on a family farm with cows, horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, and many others. After I graduated college, I spent an entire school year in a teaching fellowship where I helped teachers and their classroom of students adjust to change (i.e. teacher leaving for an undefined amount of time, moving away, going on maternity leave, etc). I enjoy working hands-on with students and often come up with unusual and creative ways to learn various subjects. I enjoy reading and love finding that special niche for those who don't like to read. I take special care with large projects which was my favorite in high school and college to complete. I am available most nights and weekends for tutoring; please contact me for availability and scheduling.
