My name is Angela S. I graduated from Fredonia State university with my BA in English and a minor in elementary education. While there I had the experience of working in the learning center tutoring students in English and students with English as a second language on a variety of courses.
I have worked for many years as a special education teacher working for Mary Cariolla Children's center. I recently received my masters in special education and elementary education from Touro College.
I enjoy teaching reading and literacy and have experience teaching students with disabilities as well as students studying for their G.E.D.

  I have a number of courses with ASL and use sign to help communicate with nonverbal students. Practice is the most important aspect of this second language and the more it is used the better ones skills will become.

  I am certified in grades 1-6 elementary and students with disabilities. I have more than 20 years experience working with students with severe disabilities. I had one request for tutoring a student with special needs in chemistry at wyzant and that job I felt was beyond my capabilities because I am not a high school science tracher, not because of the students disabilities.
