I am a graduate student in education with a background in teaching and tutoring both English and French. I am committed to a career in education and to helping improve the academic skills of students like you! I am studying TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) as part of Hunter College's well respected school of education and have also completed TESOL coursework at NYU. With a 4.0 GPA I take my grades and my students' grades seriously! I am qualified to tutor and teach all aspects of English language arts such as reading, academic and creative writing, grammar etc. As for my French skills, I studied, lived and worked in France for nearly two years and majored in French Studies as an undergraduate a Colby College, a top liberal arts school. Before beginning this program I completed coursework in TESOL and NYU. I also taught English in France for a year to teachers-in-training, college students and adults in the workplace.
