About Makoena

Dear student,
I have been teaching for the past 22 years. I have taught elementary school students (all subjects) for 13 years and am teaching middle school science at this time. I have two Masters degrees (Special Education and Teaching through technology). I am licensed to teach up to 9th grade science. I use different techniques and hands-on methods to teach. I enjoy individualize teaching to each student's specific needs.

I get along with my students. I am able to find out what a student is struggling with in order to help him/her to overcome obstacle.

I tutor my students constantly when the need comes up and they are usually able to move on to enjoy the lessons.
