About Jaime

Writing is my specialty. I have a B.A. in English from UCLA and have edited, proofread, and co-written papers for a few students. All my clients have always been pleased with my results.

Last year, I also helped a friend obtain his G.E.D. at the age of 28 by co-writing a paper about a personal life experience that changed his perspective of life.

The entire paper, about 3 pages long, took less than 4 hours to write. This included editing and proofreading.

In addition, I once wrote an anti-abortion persuasive speech, which earned 110 out of 115 possible points. In front of a class at least 60% female, I recited this speech right after a female student recited her pro-abortion speech. My professor said it was better than most anti-abortion speeches he has heard from students.

As a student, I wrote about poetry and literature from many different time periods-as early as the 11th century and as recent as the twentieth century. I have written about Beowulf, works by Shakespeare, William Blake, Percy Shelley, Lord Byron, and John Keats, just to name a few. In addition, I have written about Irish and British Poetry, Native American Poetry and Romantic Poetry.

I love to write about controversial topics that other students avoid when there are other topics to choose from. For example, I once wrote a twelve-page paper for a class I was failing (due to a terrible midterm) at UCLA. The paper, worth 40% of my grade, helped me earn a "C" in this class.

I still have copies of some "A" papers from UCLA and would be happy to show them to you upon request.

Finally, as a Special Ed. Teacher I helped two students who other teachers had given up on. One of them was 20 years old and, after three months, he began getting A's in his spelling tests after previously never passing a spelling test in his life.

The other student was 18 years old and was known for often sleeping in class. He began getting A's in his spelling tests after just a month in my class. He also got a lot more work done in other subjects and did not sleep nearly as often.

The Director of New West Technical Academy can verify this for me and I can provide him as a reference upon request.

Finally, I am the quintessential perfectionist when it comes to writing, to the point where even my emails are always grammatically perfect.

Why settle for less? Try me and you won't regret it!

More On Jaime's Subjects

  • elementary (k-6th)

I have experience tutoring elementary school students in Math, reading, writing and grammar. One of my accomplishments was helping students to have more enthusiasm for reading while improving their reading and pronunciation skills. I also helped students to not give up on themselves or the subjects that were most difficult for them. In addition, I demonstrated patience with students who were very slow learners, while imparting a desire to learn on students who at times lacked a desire to learn. I'm also a former teacher assistant, and worked closely with two special education students, helping them to improve their reading, writing and grammar skills. I've also been a catechism teacher at St. Rose of Lima Church, in a class of about twenty-five fourth to sixth grade students. Finally, I've participated in many other church activities with children, such as Bible studies and retreats. In my experience, I have gotten along very well with children and adolescents.
