I am a junior at the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH majoring in Spanish and International Business. I am very passionate about the Spanish language and I love speaking Spanish with friends and teaching my friends Spanish phrases. I studied abroad in Brazil for ten days in March 2008, and even though the official language in Brazil is Portuguese, I used my Spanish everyday in order to communicate effectively. I am planning to go to Spain in 2009 to study abroad for a longer period of time. I have always had a passion for languages, Spanish in particular, because it is the first language that I have learned outside of English. I am currently also studying Portuguese. I am always helping my friends with their Spanish homework and I am currently tutoring children at Hubbard Elementary School with reading in English. I had great Spanish teachers in high school and in college that have given me the tools of how to help others with Spanish. I have also helped my cousin with his high school level Spanish homework many times. I would not see tutoring anyone in Spanish as a job because I enjoy Spanish so much and I love helping others with it! I can accomodate anyone with any type of learning style. I own many resources that are helpful in learning the language.


I am also very good at algebra. I am currently studying calculus at my university. I really like algebra and I would love to help others with it because it is very important to higher level mathematics.
