I have a doctorate degree from Parker College of Chiropractic where I studied anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and many other health related subjects extensively. I graduated with a 3.91 GPA and was class Salutatorian. I made the Dean's List every semester during my professional training and consistently helped my classmates with coursework. During undergraduate school I studied biomedical sciences or pre-med also making the Dean's List almost every semester. I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 3 years. My high school experience included a high GPA, recognition as graduating in the top ten of my class while also participating in Varsity Soccer and Basketball as Team Captain my senior year in both. I also started an intramural/recreational soccer league for students my senior year of high school.

I have tutored in many aspects. I tutored in high school for chemistry and at Parker College of Chiropractic in Anatomy, Embryology, and neurology. I also tutored for the City of Dallas in a program helping adults of all ages pass a state test granting a high school diploma in writing and English Comprehension. I had many of my students from Dallas let me know they passed and how my instruction had changed their lives. I have tutored individuals and in groups as large as ten students.

My tutoring style is based on participation. I prefer to give brief instruction followed by activities that allow understanding and application of the material. This allows me to see which concepts are needing more instruction so that I can directly assess and address needed areas. Depending on the given coursework I may ask the student to do some extra work on their own to reinforce the lessons in between tutoring sessions.

• public speaking

  I love public speaking. I know it's the number one fear of most people but I get a buzz being in front of people speaking on a subject I am passionate about. It's something I do for my office almost every week and have had the opportunity to do in a number of venues. I've spoken to groups large and small starting back in high school and continuing through today. One thing I love about it is that no audience or group is the same. Every time you talk there is a different dynamic and energy within the group. It may seem scary, but in fact it's exhilarating. I've taken courses on public speaking and learned the supposed rules. That's all fine and good but I have learned more about how to read an audience and understand if you're message is making an impact. I also can show you how to capture your audiences attention with very simple techniques. Public speaking is something I love to do and I would love to show you how to excel in it as well.
