I am born and raised in Hawaii. Attended Kailua High School and graduated in 1974. I attended The University of Hawaii and graduated in 1983. I taught full time upper elem all subject areas. Decided to stay home and raise my two sons who are now in high school. During the years I was raising them I home schooled them up until 4th grade. Went back as a tutor for some years and then got into substitute teaching, which I am currently doing. I have worked with all age levels and sped students. I enjoy one on one tutoring because you can see the value of the teaching style when the students grasp the learning. That's when the most learning seems to take place.
