Throughout the last three years of High School, using my free time, I tutored various subjects such as general mathematics through A.P. Calculus. I was also tutoring in every other subject that was available. I connected with the students greatly, all of them exceeded in their studies, even those having problems with their schoolwork and grades.
When I tutored, I would sit with the students explaining every aspect of the problem by a hands on step by step process. The students would then gain confidence in themselves and obtained exceptional grades. I taught students at a level that they understood and in a way their teachers could not accomodate.
I graduated with Academic Honors and participated in specialized courses to expand my knowledge. I also participated in a Purdue research engineering team with Professor Chen Zhou in developing new equiment for British Petroleum.
