I'm offering my services as a tutor in Chemistry and German Language.
As a former university faculty member with four years experience in lecturing, my best subject is Organic Chemistry (doctorate). In that area, I have already worked with American college students, and thereby improved their marks from `Fail`; to either `C` or `B-`. However, I can also tutor in General Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. It is all a question of determining the best approach for the individual in question. It's also a team effort, as opposed to spoon-feeding. I can work with a number of texts, and am adaptable in that respect. I also have some experience in tutoring college students.
I believe myself to be highly qualified to tutor in German, since I have more than 25 years of experience in the language. I completed my doctorate in Germany (thesis written in German), and afterwords worked in German-speaking Switzerland; that gives me ten years of experience in German-speaking Europe. My B.Sc. and M.Sc. were completed in North America.
