There are NO dumb questions. Learning is a life long pastime and should always feel rewarding!
That being said, yes some subjects are harder for some people than others but that doesn't mean they can't be learned. I believe in keeping things simple and positive and tailoring my responses to the way YOU think.
I have a bachelor's degree in International Relations and minor in African Studies. So my first degree was in the areas of political science and anthropology. I later returned to school and majored in Biology. I have academic training in genetics, cell biology, ecology, botany, zoology, chemistry, physics, statistics, algebra and calculus.
I am certified to teach life science to grades 7-12 in the State of Maine and have 2.5 years classroom teaching experience. I also received a Master of Science in Teaching and I have graduate level experience in scientific research. I have taught at the college level in plant taxonomy, algebra, and human anatomy and physiology.
I enjoy teaching and tutoring and love it when students find that "A-ha!" moment with a difficult subject.
