Borderline Brilliant...Generally Goofy
Now that I have your attention, let me introduce myself. My given name's Charity, but I prefer to be called Twix. I am a very laid-back person with a goofy sense of humor. I tend to get along with everyone. I am a Certified Medical Assistant. While in college I co-created, and was co-editor of, the school paper.
I do my best when it comes to reading, writing,
and biological sciences. I have often been asked to help friends and family. I am told I have a knack for getting people to understand the problems they face simply by finding a way to relate their subject to themselves. In other words, I help them find the switch that makes it all click, making it easier to learn what they're studying.
As for Elementary aged children, I have three of my own, all of whom are rated above average in school. I make learning interesting to them, which is so necessary when dealing with young minds. Please, make no mistake, I'm no Mary Poppins, but my lessons are usually full of both fun and learning.
No, I do not have professional tutoring experience. However, I do have a willingness to not only help others learn new things, but maybe learn a few things myself, as well.
