I was a Psycholoy major in college, but discovered my love for writing when I wasn't doing well in my Psych. classes. I switched over to English and Communications and have been interested in journalism ever since. I write poetry in my spare time, and love to read. I went on to get a master's degree in journalism and was a teaching assistant for students who came the year after me. I love listening to what students have to say, and what they really need to improve on. I like when students are comfortable enough to be conversational and play an important role in how they want to learn in school.
