I enjoy helping others in any way that I can. Therefore, in addition to other volunteer activities, I have done much tutoring in the last five years. I began tutoring in high school in the subjects: trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus . In college, I tutored elementary and middle school students in all subject areas needed. Now, I teach Catholicism and the Vietnamese language and culture to students level K-12 every Saturday. I was valedictorian of Pioneer High School in the Class of 2004, and majored in Molecular Cell Biology at UC Berkeley. I love tutoring because I want to help students reach their highest potential. Education is very important and can open many doors for you later in life. In addition to tutoring the core subjects, I can also share with students efficient studying and time management techniques. My teaching style varies with each individual because everyone learns most efficiently in different ways. Thank you for your consideration.
