Hi! My name is Veronica, but I go by Yoshi. I am a full-time student at Lone Star College - Cy-Fair, pursuing an Associate of Science Degree. My GPA is a 4.0, and I intend to keep it that way. My SAT score percentiles were above approximately 80% of the national group of college-bound seniors. My goals are to transfer to Rice University and achieve a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Law, and then continue onto law school. I would also like to one day have a Welding Certificate, and it would also be nice to be the President of the United States someday.
I am a strong believer that anyone can rise up and surpass any type of obstacles, especially those that would affect one's education. I volunteered and worked in the Children's Ministry at my church, which is where I have learned about applying curriculum and teaching methods in different ways, since not everyone learns the same way. Having goals is important, but it's just as important to create a passion to achieve them.
