Hello! I am an eighth grade special education teacher. I have been teaching for 3 years and have co-taught in ELA and Math. I am very familiar with both of these state tests and have many tips and tricks to help you succeed on these exams. I am also a reading teacher for children through adults in various areas including writing and reading. I have also played the flute for many years and would be interested in teaching beginner flute as it is a passion of mine. I love learning how students learn and thrive in the ability to try new teaching/learning ideas.

  I have played the flute for 14 years and have also spent a semester in college conducting a symphonic band. I would be able to teach any beginner flute lessons up to about 4 years experience. I am familiar with the Breeze Easy books but can use any that the student would be comfortable with. I have also had experience with the piccolo and would feel comfortable teaching beginner lessons on this as well but only with flute background.

  I have a degree in Special Education and currently teach 8th grade special education. I have worked with students that have ADHD, autism, emotional disabilities, social disabilities, and various other learning disabilities. I specialize in differentiated instruction and have an ability to help students learn based on their learning style regardless of mental or physcial disabilities.
