I have used the Microsoft Office suite of programs for many years and am able to help you in a couple of ways. First, you will learn how to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for homework assignments. Second, you will also increase your self-confidence in using computer applications. Third, your GPA will go up because of the higher grades you will receive from turning in professional-looking reports and projects.

My BBA degree is in the business field of Human Resources and my masters degree is an MBA. I am currently working on my PhD dissertation. My area of expertise is in the business arena--more specifically, with business ethics. Ethics is a huge part of every aspect of every day life--and yet it is only now becoming a hot topic of interest at universities and organizations.
My teaching style is one of demonstration followed by practical application. I am a firm believer of on-the-job training. It is easier for a student to learn software applications if they can physically create something tangible and meaningful that they can take away with them. I believe in scaffolding lessons so they build upon each other, but only at a speed at which my students are comfortable learning. Therefore, it is important not to rush students and to be aware of each student’s cognitive load threshold.
