Hi! My name is Lauren, and I'm a Math, Spanish, and Volleyball tutor! Some facts about me: I love ballroom dance, I play pinnochle, I've pet a wild puma, I've backpacked across Europe, and I've been a vegetarian for 10 years.
First off, I love Math. I love all the different ways to approach problems. It fascinates me that Math was around before anyone ever knew it, and I love thinking about all the things in Math that exist right now that I don't yet know about, and I'm excited to learn them! I've been tutoring Math for 8 years, and I still love it!
As for Spanish, it is another passion of my heart. I love the sound of the language. I love the culture. I also like working with individuals to come up with a curriculum and style of learning Spanish that best fits their learning styles. I am fluent and I have lived in Spanish speaking countries for at total of almost a year. I have been tutoring Spanish for 6 years.
I grew up on the East Coast with my parents playing beach volleyball every night of the week. Volleyball is in my blood. I played competitively for six years. I love playing, teaching, and watching volleyball, and trust me, I know the tricks!
