I've got a Ph. D. in Communication from The Ohio State University and a Master's Degree in English from Sonoma State University in northern California. I've studied widely in the humanities and social sciences. I have briefly tutored in math and am currently tutoring an Education doctoral student in critical theory. I also have a brief experience (six years) as a part-time instructor in southern California community colleges, and four years' experience as a TA at Ohio State. My teaching experience has made me a creative teacher (mostly of English, but also of public speaking) who presents critical thinking opportunities to his students but who is nevertheless willing to listen to his students and to cater to his students' voiced needs.
