I am a veteran homeschooler, writing my own curriculum, and a previous substitute teacher and Student Achievement Assistant in Baltimore County Public Schools. My homeschooled son, after seven years at home, is now a freshman in high school and earning straight A's. I currently am homeschooling my four year old and I am the preK/K teacher for Passport to Learning co-op in Columbia. I am a firm believer in phonics and early literacy skills. I have tutored elementary reading privately and also with Baltimore County. I have patience and believe in positive reinforcement. I enjoy teaching the elementary grades and I have patience and wisdom I'd like to share.
