Hello Students!
I have recently graduated from Drexel University here in Philadelphia from a 5-year program in Biology and Math. Currently, I am working at Drexel as a Web developer and laboratory manager. I am also taking classes towards my master's in Scientific Communication - a degree that is geared towards teaching and relaying complicated scientific ideas and advancements to the general public! That's essentially my passion in life. I love performing research and learning but I hope to become a scientific writer for a major science magazine such as Scientific American one day.
I make this point because I want you to understand that while I may be a very laid back person, I take my tutoring very seriously. Essentially, my career goal is to be a sort of "science tutor" for the entire country! So I can promise you my help will be very valuable.

A few quick facts about me...
-My work experience within science industry involves 1.5 years of Co-ops at Centocor and Baxter Healthcare studying auto-immune diseases.
-My academic work experience involves 3 years studying Chromosome 10 for potential genetic targets for patients with Alzheimer's Disease.
-I have been out of the country twice as a "Traveler", a term very much different than tourist. The first was an expedition manning a 136 ft brigantine from the warm quite waters of the Caribbean to the cold frigid waters of Nova Scotia studying the zootropic distribution of the Myctophid fish, aka the "lantern fish". My second journey had me placed on the beaches of Greece in a tent studying and protecting the country's loggerhead turtle, a highly endangered sea turtle.
-My next journey out of the country will hopefully place me in the jungles of Bioko island, off the coast of Africa studying primates!
