I have a very strong interest in tutoring. With experience working at both the elementary and middle school levels, as well as in activities outside of the traditional classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer.
My classroom teaching experience ranges from kindergarten practicums to middle school science. In addition, I am a Teacher Ambassador to Europe where I travel to during the summers.
I have student teaching experience on the first, third, and sixth grade levels, in both suburban and urban school districts. I particularly enjoyed working with "at-risk" children and careful preparation of lessons allowed me to break down sometimes complicated concepts to simple examples that my young students could grasp.
Managing the difference of abilities among my students proved a difficult, but satisfying, challenge. I tailored activities to maintain the interest of high-level students.
