As a professional tutor, I have helped students excel in history, literature, psychology and sociology courses at several major colleges throughout Rhode Island. While in this position, I assisted students with their assignments and helped them to improve their study habits. I also worked closely with the students' academic advisers to develop study strategies designed to improve their academic standing.
For the past several years, I have also worked as a professional proofreader and English tutor for a major university. In this job I help both graduate and undergraduate students make their work stronger and achieve better grades.
Many of my former students were disability students or international students for whom English was a second or third language. Many of the papers I have edited include business proposals memoirs, economics theses, literary analyses and history papers.
