I am a warm, compassionate, patient, organized, and task oriented tutor. I have 13 years of experience tutoring children from age 5 up to college students. I have a B.A. in Psychology from Sacramento State, a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from National University, and a CBEST certificate.   I have been a professional tutor for 13 years. Many of my students have been in elementary school and have tutored them in all subjects. In addition, I worked at St. Philomene's School as a Title One Teacher in the 2006-2007 school year. At this position I was responsible for assessing all students from 1st to 8th grade to see if they could benefit from tutoring, then I would tutor them individually and in small groups in order to catch them up to grade level, all while maintaining their case files, and having conferences with the student’s principal, teachers, and parents regarding the student’s progress.

In addition, when I was in graduate school getting my MA in counseling psychology, I was a full-time student and had 4 jobs, therefore I have strong organizational and time management skills.
