About John

I have a Masters in EdCI, with minors in Geography, Earth Science and Reading from Texas A&M. Undergraduate work BA in History and Geography. I have taught all levels from small children to seniors. Elementary to college levels. I have a strong and varied background in geography and history and have taught it from junior high to college level. I was privileged to work under some of the best geographic minds in America, Dr. Carter, Doran and Kimber at A&M. Dr. Carter was my mentor and I had him for four courses, two in grad school.

I teach in many methods and adapt it to the group or individual I am working with. I relate well with all ages. Had great rapport with most of my students excelling with 9-10th graders, community college students and major college students.

I challenge the student to learn and am good at motivating them.

My wide educational background and teaching experience is a plus.
