I have a Spanish Certification, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. I have over seven years of teaching experience, teaching students of various ages and abilities. Currently, as an ESL Assistant Teacher, I successfully tutor non-English speaking students. I work with students on a one-on-one basis, and provide support on the subject areas of Math and Sciences, 6th, 7th and 8th grade level. My focus as a tutor is to assist students in understanding the specific lessons in their course curriculum to help them achieve classroom goals. Also,I enjoy teaching Spanish language; my lessons include phonetics and pronunciation, conversation and surveys of literature. I am confident of my ability to stimulate and motivate children toward personal growth and achievement.
