I have been awarded full 6 credits from NYU's Language Proficiency Test in Japanese.
music history
As a musician, knowing and understanding the historical backgrounds of the composers and the music you're working is crucial to creating music. I have taken many music history classes through out my life, and have read and own many music history books. I love discovering new facts about a composer or music, and applying to my musical creativity. Music history is more than just knowing the historical facts. It is about understanding how world history has had an effect on musical styles, instruments, composers and how it is related to every aspects of music we know today.
