    I have played guitar for 15 years. This includes performance as a solo artist, and in groups. I have written and produced original music as well as performed others compositions. I specialize in rock guitar. I have taught guitar to over 20 students in both 1/2 hour and 1 hour sessions. I teach beginner-level students, and focus on getting the student quickly involved in successfully performing songs of their choosing. I intermix this performance with light music theory in order to help the student connect the guitar fretboard with writing music. This helps greatly in establishing basic skills needed to move on to intermediate and performance based guitar playing.
