In 2006, I completed the ESL Training through the Oakland Literacy Council. I have experience working with students who speak/understand very little English and those who are more advanced. I have been interested in languages my entire life and feel I have a special feel for the nuances of different languages. I have attempted to learn Polish and Arabic on my own, and in school I studied Latin, French and Spanish. I would be comfortable tutoring ESL students, including English remedial, through high school level.
