About Mariam:

I can say I'm an experienced teenager with different paths in life and searching to find more to learn about and to teach others what I've come across. I've always helped those near and dear to my heart, but have reached out for a helping hand for others as well, and would love to continue to do so. One of my biggest goals in life would be to pass on what I've experienced from tough times in my life as a child, teenager, and on my way to become a woman and the stages of life I've gone through. There are a lot of problems in society today, that pull us away from our true potentials and the great accomplishments each of us are able to make in our life-time. I'd be more than happy to help at least one person, if I can have this tutoring job, to change their views and to make them realize just how important they are and how far they can go if they'd just apply themselves. Now that is an accomplishment and success to me! =)

More On Mariam's Subjects:

  • drawing

Drawing is one of the best, most relaxing things to do next to writing, for me. I love to draw, it feels as though it takes you into a new world full of more ideas and thoughts that come out from a drawing, painting etc... it's also a very amazing and rewarding feeling. I've recently discovered just how much I love to draw/paint. I wasn't always good at it, but after I learned the basic skills needed to draw, all it took was just imagination and my thoughts to come out. Art is a great form of learning, it's visual and uses the creative side of the mind and helps to develop artistic skills that make life all the more exciting and wonderful. After some inspiration from a professor of mine, I was amazed and now can't imagine life without Art. The more you can be informed about a subject, the more you grow to respect/like and discover new things not only about that but everything else that relates. I love Art/drawing and I would love to bring out the creative side out of my students, and one day maybe they too will grow up to teach others! =)

  • elementary (k-6th)

I am experienced with this field, because I've had a lot of experience with elementary kids. I love working with them, they are not only adorable but bright kids who just need to look in the right direction and reach towards a happy, successful life ahead of them. The children get along great with me and it's a very rewarding feeling to see the smile on a child's face at the end of the day, as they learn something new and are excited to share it with a family member and their friends. It's one of the best ways to start off a child on the right track, to start them off at a young age has a good effect to help them in the future. I fully intend to help and be the best tutor I can be for all of them! =)
