I have been a teacher since 1993. During that time I earned three degrees (BS, MA and PhD), a English language teaching certificate and a postgraduate diploma in Film Sound Design. My teaching experience is mainly from English language classes, where my strengths have been grammar, test preparation, reading comprehension and academic writing. In addition to this, I have taught film sound history and analysis at the Masters degree level. As a teacher I prefer not to lecture; I would rather stimulate a student's own thinking process. In this way, he or she can build up their own creativity and understanding. Above all, I like the time I spend with students to be encouraging and insightful.
