I know what it's like to feel frustrated in classes, with a certain teacher, or just in general with a subject area. I, too, have been there and I am willing to work one on one with students until that frustration is replaced with confidence. Currently, I am a Columbia University sophomore, balancing both PreMed and PreLaw. I consider myself to be extremely approachable, down to earth, and friendly. At the same time, I'm extremely motivated, disciplined, and hard-working and I will make sure that the student will be too. I believe in teaching through examples, at the student's pace, until the confusion is gone. I will strive to teach concepts, not simple memorization techniques for certain problems, to ensure a fundamental understanding of the material. I have tutored before, locally and through volunteer work with Columbia University.
