About Megan:

Hi, my name is Megan and I am a recent graduate of Waubonsie Valley High School. While I attended high school, I excelled in honors math, accounting, and reading. I also completed 18 hours of college credit while I was still in high school. This year, I am now a college student at the College of DuPage and my major is accounting. Through my accounting classes, both in high school and college, I have been at the top of my class and enjoy helping others to understand concepts. I am also very knowledgeable in Microsoft Word 2003/2007 and PowerPoint. My favorite subject in school has always been honors math. I currently babysit for two elementary-aged children, so I am up-to-date on K-5 subjects. I love to proofread papers, which is probably why my friends call me "Miss Spell Check."

More On Megan's Subjects:

  • discrete math

Throughout my whole school career, my favorite subject has been math. In junior high and high school I was in honors math, and excelled in all of my classes. Now that I am in college, I am taking math and accounting classes and am at the top of my classes. Math has always come easy to me and I want to help others to make math easy for them.

  • elementary (k-6th)

In elementary school, I was always an A-student. I would come home every day and do my homework right away without any trouble. My friends and I would always play school and I was excellent at playing the teacher. I currently babysit two elementary school aged children, grades 1 and 4, and I love helping them with their homework.
