Philadelphia native, raised in North Philly, sights enlightened by the extended outreach of her education, through private and parochial Schools. “Working with computers has been a passion for many years,” Venturing into the virtual world of digital arts has driven her to strive for higher learning. Inspiration guided by strong role models, including 5th grade teacher; Sen. Robert Casey Jr. Developing skills in the corporate world as a Receptionist / Administrator, the computer at her desk was a new world to explore, with doors being opened here and only slightly closed before her, there. In 2003 enrolling as an adult student into the Art Institute of Philadelphia’s, Digital Media Productions Bachelors program. Networking and expanding her knowledge brought her to Quintessence Entertainment Inc., summer of 2003 as an Admin. Assistant/editing intern. During her second year, the Black Student Union, AIPH Chapter voted Jeanie into the position as 2nd Vice President, giving her the opportunity to expand my work with children and community outreach. In 2005, wanting to share the knowledge with others through her work as Digital Arts Specialist for the Community C.A.R.E.S. Learning Center’s after school program at New Foundations Charter School, in North East Philadelphia. Instructing the students of NFCS is a continuing joy.
